Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
Keep the muzzle pointed at the backstop and parallel to the ground. NEVER allow the muzzle to point
in any direction whereby an inadvertent discharge would allow the escape of a projectile into an outer
area.

Firearms should be unloaded when not actually in use.
Keep chamber clear and open unless firing. Do not leave additional firearms loaded on the benches.
Never step away from the shooting bench/firing line while holding a loaded firearm.
If you must move about the range or to another firing point with your firearm, you must carry it
unloaded, with the action or lever open, and the muzzle up unless in a case.

Don't rely on your gun's "Safety"
|
|
4. |
|
Be sure of your assigned target and what is beyond it. You shall only shoot at your target so that your bullet(s) shall impact the berm behind it.
|

|
Use only the correct ammunition for your gun.
|
|
6. |
|
If your gun fails to fire when the trigger is pulled, handle with care.
The range is not responsible for carelessness, faulty ammunition or equipment.
|
|

|
Always wear eye and ear protection on the range and when shooting
ALL persons, whether shooting or not, MUST use EYE and EAR PROTECTION while on the
firing line, even while using any optical equipment.
|
|

|
Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions before shooting.
|
|
9. |
|
Don't alter or modify your gun, and have guns serviced
regularly.
|
|
10. |
|
Learn to mechanical and handling characteristics of the firearm
you are using.
|
|
11. |
|
No alcohol or drugs on premises.
Anyone found consuming alcohol or drugs or in the opinion of the range officer is under the influence of
Alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the property immediately.

|

|
Don’t go forward of the firing line unless a “cease fire” is called and the range declared safe.
The command “CEASE FIRE” means stop shooting IMMEDIATELY.
Do not handle any firearm or ammunition during cease fire.

|
Guns should be carried in cases to shooting area.
Only unloaded and bagged firearms are allowed in the office.
|
|

|
Absolutely NO shooting on wildlife.
Keep in mind that TX Wildlife or any other appropriate law enforcement agencies will be called if any
animal, or anything else, is shot on our property.

|
You are not permitted on the range without previously signed Release and Waiver of Liability / Hold Harmless Agreement for this range.
All persons going to the range must first check in at the office and complete this Release and Hold
Harmless form prior to entering the shooting range. Parents or Guardians (at least 18 years of age)
must fill out the release form for any minors under the age of 18, one form per minor.

Range fees are paid per shooter at the announced rates. Spectators do have to pay a $10.00 safety fee
and have to complete the release form, and shall not shoot or handle any firearms at any time.
This safety fee will be reimbursed/credited to the standard fee when renting a range to shoot.

No armor piercing or steel core ammunition and no incendiary devices, tracer ammunition and
Caliber .50 ammo to be used on targets. All ammunition is subject to inspection by range staff members at any time, anywhere on the range.

No RAPID FIRE
No fully automatic arms are to be fired, except as part of a supervised law enforcement / military exercise
|
|
19. |
|
The range officer's decisions are final - no ungentlemanly
conduct.
|
|

|
All vehicles and pedestrians must stay on main caliche roads and parking area. Except the shooting range all other Property is private property and Spindler-Arms LLC. will not tolerate trespassing.

Spindler-Arms LLC./Area 52 Shooting Range is not responsible or liable for any loss, accidents or
damage to any person or property whilst on Spindler-Arms/AREA 52 Shooting Range property.

|
The range is not responsible for snakes, bees, ants etc. Always keep your eyes open.
Do not “play” with rattlesnakes.
|

|
Shooters only on firing lines.
No children on the range unless fully supervised by an adult. Shooters are responsible for their
Children and guests, at all times, while on range property. Parents or guardians must be within
arm’s reach at all times of their minor children.

|
Range property includes all brass on the grounds unless you have brought it.
No “empty case hunting”.
NO live ammunition allowed to be placed in the trash barrels.
|
|
25. |
|
Smoking is not permitted on the firing lines, except for designated areas only (sand filled buckets).
Due to possible fire hazards do not throw away burning cigarettes & etc. but dispose of it properly in
the buckets provided.
No smoking is permitted in any area being used by a black powder shooter.

|
DO NOT handle any firearm while others are downrange.
|
|
27. |
|
No animals of any variety are allowed on any ranges. Exceptions made for service dogs only.
Please do not rely on tying up your animal in our parking area. This is for you animals safety.
Spindler-Arms LLC./Area 52 can not be held responsible for what may happen to your pet should it
escape for any reason.
If in doubt about anything, please ask any one of our Range
Staff / Range Officer or Office who will also support you in
handling the electronic and equipment.
Act always in such a manner that no harm or injuries to other
patrons can occur and no damage can happen on range equipment.
Any person causing damage by inappropriate behavior on the
ranges or property will be charged and may be forced to forfeit
their range fees.
Failure to follow any of the above rules and regulations is
grounds for immediate removal from the range property without
refund. |
