Welcome to SPINDLER-ARMS LLC / AREA 52 LONG RANGE SHOOTING COURSES
We offer two different types of courses/classes:
Course No. 1 is for the long-range precision shooter to train and enhance skills for regular long-range sporting activities.
Course No. 2 is for law enforcement, military and security personnel only. The priority is a one round - one hit capability.

AREA 52 is designed, built and equipped to transfer skills in a very intensive course in a very short time. Our electronic targets at 300, 600, 800 and 1000 meters ( 330, 660, 880 and 1100 yards) show a hit immediately on a monitor next to the shooter. There is no wasted time going out to the target or waiting for the scorer to show the impact of the bullet.
Shooting on our range is done under real conditions: real rifle, live ammunition, and inclement weather influences. You have to be prepared for all weather conditions (appropriate clothing, equipment etc.) and to bring with you ear and eye protection required at all time on the range.
When you fill out the application form (attached, please read carefully) you will be asked for proof of identity and evidence that you can lawfully attend this course.

The Competition Season for 2008 is now over. Next year, we will again have different kinds of repeated competitions:
- The Long-Range-Competition on AREA 52 TOSS-Style: 300, 600, 800 and 1000 meters. 3 sighting-in-rounds and 15 scoring rounds at each distance (72 rounds of ammo). Time: 30 minutes each distance. SCORE COUNTS first in this competition (V-Bull, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1); in the event ot two equal scores, the best C-C determines the winner. Front-Rest is allowed but NO Rear-Rest. The Front-rest may be of any type, but may not be fastened to both rifle and ground/bench at the same time. Shooting-Position: Your choice (prone or sitting at a bench, which will be provided by us). NO caliber lager then .338! There are two classes: Bolt-Action-Rifle or Semi-Auto-Rifle. Entry-Fee $ 70.00 per shooter/classe/gun, $ 100.00 if shooting in both classes.
The 3681 Long-Range-Competition Date: Next competition not scheduled yet
The Sniper-Cup CHALLENGE 368: Placed on the 600 meters line you will have to shoot 2 rounds each, as fast as possible, on one assigned 300 meters target, 600 meters target and 800 meters target without moving from your position at 600 (Score and time count and will be calculated for factor). This line of fire will be repeated for a total of 5 times of shooting. You will need 30 rounds of Ammo. No caliber lager then .338 is allowed. There is also no sighting in of rifles on the day of competition. It is your choice whether you shoot standing, sitting at a bench or in prone position. Bipod, Sling or Front and Rear Rest are allowed (Rules for Front- and Rear Rest as above in the Benchrest-Competition). There are two classes: Bolt-Action-Rifle and/or Semi-Auto-Rifle. Entry fee $ 35.00 per shooter/class/gun. Prizes: Certificates for the first three winners in each class. FMI: Please call us and we will send you a complete description of this competition. For shooters with Bolt-Action-Rifle: For a fair course of this match only single-load of the rifle is allowed, no shooting out of a magazine.
